LES PETITES VOIX
Les Petites Voix will continue to bring joy and singing to children throughout the Lake Charles area. The 2024-2025 Season marks the 41st year for the choir to offer this opportunity for children. LPV, the Lake Charles Community Chorus for Children, is a choir for singers in 4th-12th grades with unchanged treble voices. Singers from around our region rehearse once a week to focus on music literacy, vocal training, and performance skills of the highest standards. These skills are taught primarily through the Kodály philosophy of music education. Performances will include the annual Louisiana Choral Foundation Christmas Concert and the Louisiana Association of Kodály Educators Children’s Choir Festival.
Weekly rehearsals for the 2024-2025 Season will be held on Mondays at St. Luke-Simpson United Methodist Church from 4:00 - 5:15 pm. Please call Kari Proksch at 337-912-8592 for information on joining LPV.
