les petites voix

Les Petites Voix is excited to begin its 36th season as the Lake Area’s children’s community choir. Singers from throughout Calcasieu and Cameron parishes in grades four through twelve with unchanged treble voices meet once a week to focus on music literacy, vocal training, and performance skills in a nurturing and structured environment. LPV participates with the Masterworks Chorale in concert on a regular basis and has also performed with the Lake Charles Symphony. The choir also performs at festivals and events throughout the year. This year our performances will include our annual Louisiana Choral Foundation Christmas Concert and our spring Youth Concert.

Weekly rehearsals for the 2019-2020 season begin on Monday, September 9 from 4:00-5:15pm at the Lake Charles Boston Academy of Learning choir room. Please call Kari Proksch at 912-8592 for more information on how to join LPV.
